Information about the collection of personal data

For the technical operation of the website, we have agreed to cooperate with the provider IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur (hereinafter referred to as IONOS).

 

Visiting the website

When you visit our website, various log files including your IP address are processed. The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). We have a legitimate interest in being able to ensure the reliable and sustainable operation of the website.

Additionally, the analysis service WebAnalytics from IONOS is used on our website. Within the scope of the analyses, among other things, visitor numbers and behaviour (e.g. number of page views, duration of a website visit, bounce rates), visitor sources (i.e. from which page the visitor comes), visitor locations as well as technical data (browser and operating system versions) can be evaluated.

In particular, the following data is stored for this purpose:

  • Referrer (previously visited website)
  • requested website or file
  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • type of device used
  • time of access
  • IP address in anonymized form (used only to determine the general location of the access).

 

According to IONOS, the data is collected completely anonymously so that it cannot be traced back to individual persons. Cookies are not stored by IONOS WebAnalytics.

The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). We have a legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour in order to align our website design and content with user interests.

Contact form / contact by e-mail or telephone

When you contact us via the contact form or by direct e-mail or telephone, the data/information you provide (title, name, e-mail address and content of the message via the contact form) is transmitted to us in encrypted form as far as possible and stored by us. Your contact is expressly made on a voluntary basis. Failure to deliver the aforementioned data will not affect you.

The data is processed exclusively for the purpose of answering your questions or processing your request. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). We have a legitimate interest in processing and answering the inquiries of the data subjects who contact us.

We will only store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the intended purpose of processing your contact/inquiry or to comply with statutory retention periods.

On the basis of Art. 28 GDPR (order processing), we use external service providers to support the operation of our website.

The service providers have been selected carefully by us. They are obliged to maintain confidentiality and may only use your personal data strictly for the purpose of fulfilling the contract concluded between them and Klar2O.

Any further use or disclosure of your data will only take place if this is necessary on the basis of Art. 6 par. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation) for the fulfillment of legal obligations.

Security

In order to protect the personal data stored by us from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons, we have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures. The adequacy of the protective measures is continuously reviewed and adapted to new security standards.

On our website, we use TLS (Transport Layer Security) as an encryption method for data transmission. You can recognize this by the fact that an „s“ is appended to the address component http:// in the web browser („https://“) or that a closed lock symbol is displayed next to the web adress. Clicking on the symbol provides you with information about the certificate used. The display of the symbol depends on the web browser you are using. The TLS encryption used ensures an appropriately secure transmission of your data according to the state of the art.

 

Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the processing of personal data concerning you as well as the information listed in detail in Art. 15 GDPR. If the personal data in question is incorrect or incomplete, you may request that it be corrected or completed (Art. 16 GDPR). If one of the reasons listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies, you have the right to request the immediate erasure of your personal data. Under the conditions of Art. 18 GDPR, you may request the restriction of processing and, pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, data portability.

Under the conditions of Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
